Modi proposed, Putin promised

New Delhi: Russia will return all its soldiers. The Russia President accepted the proposal of all Indian working in the Russia army to leave their country. He said, the Indian will return to the country soon.

In an important discussion between the two leaders during the visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue of repatriation of Indians serving in the Russian army with President Vladimir Putin. After accepting that, President Putin made a promise to Prime Minister Modi that the Indians will return to the country soon.

However, Indian citizens who have joined the Russia army are being forced to fight against Ukraine. Indian are being tricked and sent to the border to work as security assistants. Since November 2023, about 18 Indians have been trapped on the Russia-Ukraine border. Since the beginning of the war in 2022, 4 people have died. The opposition has repeatedly surrounded the Modi government. And when Modi, who is currently visiting Russia, raised the issue of returning Indian to the country, Russia President Putin said yes.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Moscow on Monday. President Putin greeted Modi with a warm welcome. Later, the two leaders met for dinner at the President’s House. Today, Prime Minister Modi will attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Conference. After that, Modi will visit Austria.
