New Delhi: In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the BJP announced the list of candidates for the first phase yesterday. The names of 195 candidates have been announced in this list of BJP candidates. Along with the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the name of one of his special commanders Chandrakant Raghunath Patil (Sierra Patil) is also in the list. The current MP from Gujarat’s Navsari Lok Sabha constituency Syar Patil is also the president of BJP. He has a big hand behind BJP’s historic victory in the 2022 Gujarat assembly elections. Considered a member of Narendra Modi’s coat team for a long time, Patil has also taken on PM Modi’s election duties in Varanasi.

There was speculation that the ticket of Patil, who is in the position of Gujarat BJP president, may be cut. But the party put an end to all speculations by re-nominating him.
