Berhampur: A merchant’s bag full of jewels is stolen. The incident of robbery happened in Chamakhanti police station Narendrapur street of Ganjam district. The value of looted gold and silver jewelery is said to be Rs 7 lakh. A businessman was robbed while eating breakfast while keeping his bike.
This unfortunate incident happened yesterday evening near Chamkhandi police station Narendrapur street of Ganjam district. Two youths came on a bike and were accused of looting. The miscreants have been accused of looting 15 kg of silver and 150 grams of gold jewelry.
It is said that the jeweler was robbed while returning home. The police arrived at the scene and started investigation.
