Modi in action mode after formation of government, 3 crore more houses to be found under PM housing scheme

New Delhi: The first cabinet meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term has been held. In this meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi, the Prime Minister made 2 big announcements. First, PM Kisan Nidhi has announced the release of the 17th installment. Similarly, Modi aims to build another 3 crore houses for the rural and urban homeless under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given big gifts to farmers. Modi has signed a file to release the 17th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi. This will benefit 9.3 crore farmers and about 20 thousand crore rupees will be distributed.

It is worth noting that on June 25, 2015, Modi launched the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme for the first time. The scheme aims to provide basic amenities to landless families living in rural and urban areas and help in construction of houses. A total of 4.21 crore houses have been completed for the eligible beneficiaries in the last 10 years under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
