Bhubaneswar: Many officials have been appointed secretaries of various ministers. Private Secretaries (PS) have been provided to various ministers of the first BJP government in the state. 5 officers and 3 officers have been appointed as private secretaries of various ministers.
According to the notification, senior OAS officer Pradeep Kumar Sahoo has been appointed as the private secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari. OAS officer Biswaranjan Rath has been appointed as the private secretary of the Deputy Chief Minister Prativa Parida. The government has appointed Mahendra Panda, a senior ‘OS’ officer of Bhubaneswar Sub- District, as the private secretary of the Minister of Trade and Transport.
OAS officer Manoj Kumar Behera has been appointed as OSD (Officer on Special Duty) in the Deputy Chief Minister’s office. Trinath Majhi has been appointed as the PS of Minister for School and Public Education, ST, SC Development, Social Security and Empowerment of Disabled Nityananda Gond.
OAS officer Samvit Kumar Gadhanaik has been appointed as the private secretary of Law and Home Affairs Minister Prithviraj Harichandan. Similarly Pratap Chandra Pradhan has been appointed as OSD of Fisheries and Livestock, MSME Department Minister Gokulananda Mallik. Sampad Kumar Dalai has been appointed as the OSD of Higher Education, Sports Department Minister Suryabanwshi Suraj.
