According to reports, the Indian Navy has provided vital medical assistance to an Iranian ship in response to an emergency call from INS Sumedha, a mission deployed to prevent piracy in the Arabian Sea. There were 20 Pakistani crew members in this ship.
According to the Navy, the patrol ship INS Sumedha provided this assistance on April 30. FB Al Rahmani was stopped first, then a medical team from Nausen provided immediate medical assistance to a crew member on board the Iranian vessel. He was having trouble breathing.
