Islamabad: There has been a big explosion in Pakistan. While 5 Chinese citizens died, one Pakistani citizen died. All the Chinese citizens who lost their lives were engineers. They were working on a project in Pakistan.
According to the news, there was a suicide bombing in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province yesterday. A car carrying some Chinese engineers and other workers from Islamabad to Dasu was suddenly bombed by a suicide bomber.
In which 6 people died including 5 Chinese citizens. Other people in the vehicle were rescued safely. Among the deceased, the driver of the said vehicle is a Pakistani citizen. No terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
A Chinese company is continuing to build a hydro-electric project. It is also known that this team of engineers is part of that project.
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the attack and expressed his condolences to the families of the dead Chinese citizens. He said that this attack cannot affect Pakistan-China relations. He also said that strict action should be taken against the attackers.
However, in 2021, such a suicide attack took place. A total of 13 people including 9 Chinese citizens died in it.
