Dunguripali: A freight train going from Balangir to Sambalpur got stopped at Dunguripali-Rampur road gate for half an hour today at 7:30 pm. On asking the gate guard, he revealed that the train had stopped due to a power cut. While people know that power lines are cut off in cities and rural areas, people were surprised to hear about the power cut on the train line. As the train was left between the gates and the gate was closed, the traffic on the said road was completely stopped. Bus, ambulances and other vehicle plying through the said road in Bhubaneswar were stopped while some roads were diverted. After being stopped for about half an hour, the train went to its destination after the power failure.
