Moscow: Russia President Vladimir Putin welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Moscow on Monday. The two leaders welcomed each other by hugging each other. In his first statement, President Putin congratulated Prime Minister Modi for winning a historic third term and praised him for dedicating his life to the people of India.
Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Russia, has arrived at Moscow’s Vnukovo-2 International Airport. He then went to Putin’s residence in Novo-Ogaryovo, where the Russian president hosted him for dinner.
Prime Minister Modi thank the Russia President for his good wishes. He said that he was visiting a friend at his house. His policy is to bring reforms. The people of my country have put me on my policy. “I am determined to work hard three time in the third phase,” said Prime Minister Modi.
This is Prime Minister Modi’s first bilateral visit after winning the third term. This is his first visit to Russia since Moscow launched a military offensive in February 2022 and attacked its neighbor Ukraine. Modi visited Russia for the last time in 2019.
