RF Bureau: The Odisha Technical Conclave has been successfully organized at Jaydev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Engineers Day by the leading organization Ever Green Forum. Labor Minister Sarada Prasad Naik attended the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest. The program was presided over by Dr. Prakash Jena, founder of the forum and winner of the National Youth Award. In this programme Rural Development and Technical Education and Skill Development Minister Er. Pritirajan Ghadai, OUTR Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bibhuti Bhushan Biswal and Aerospace Center of Pune CEO Er. Guru Prasad Biswal was present as a guest and shed light on the role of engineers in the nation’s progress.
On this occasion, Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath, Chancellor of BPUT was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award while Veer Surendra Sai University of Science and Technology, Burla was awarded the Best University of Technology. The model exhibition organized in the morning was inaugurated by Police Commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi. Two panel discussions on “Role of Engineers in Restoring India’s Glory” were held under the coordination of eminent TV presenter Supriya Das. NIC Joint Director Er. Niladri Bihari Mohanty, Drive Growth MD Er. Dilip Mishra, Aerospace CEO Er. Guru Prasad Biswal, OTTR Prof. Dr. Aruna Tripathi, VSUT Prof. Dr. Ramakant Panigrahi participated in the senior team discussion while Shaswati Das Chowdhury, Isha Giri, L. Bansika, AD Prabhu Pritamm, Tamanna Mahapatra, Abhik Dhal took major part.
A quiz competition was organized by Google Developer Group Bhubaneswar. On this occasion, Er. Dilip Mishra, MD of Drive Growth and Er. Gurprasad Biswal, CEO of Aerospace, Prof. Subrata Panda of NIT Rourkela, Prof. Aruna Tripathi of OTTR, Prof. Ramakant Panigrahi of VSUT, Prof. Bibhu Prasad Panigrahi of IGIT, Dr. Nayan Ranjan Samal, Chairman of DREAM were awarded by Odisha Technocrat award. and also Anil Panigrahi, Associate Director of Hitech Group, Balasore Alloys CSR Head Er. Parthasarathy Muduli and CV Raman University Assistant Professor Dr. Adyasha Rath were honored as Odisha Young Technocrats. Dr. Punyapriya Mishra and Dr. Rajat Samal, Dr. Debashish Gountia of OTR, Dr. Sanjukta Sahu of KIIT Polytechnic, Dr. Sharitanjali Naik of Govt. Polytechnic, Dr. Bijuni Sutar and Eng. Prasanna Dikshithi were honored as the best teachers.
Various institutes such as Srusthi Academy, Ronald Pharmacy College, Bhubananda Odisha Engineering School, Saraswati College, Tetrahedron College, Ariyan Engineering College, Mary Eliza Nursing College, Sai Samartha College and Google Developer Group Bhubaneswar were honored for their achievements in various fields. 7 students from various professional institutes were given the Bisheshwaraya Pratibha Award. About 500 students received scholarships in the program. Finally, Conclave Chairman Dr. Deepak Raut gave vote of thanks.
