Mumbai: ‘Bigg Boss’ 17th winner and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is in controversy. Munawar Faruqui has been detained by the police in the Mumbai hookah bar case. In this case, including Munawar, a total of 14 people were interrogated in police custody. After interrogated, the Mumbai police released them.
According to the Mumbai Police, yesterday in a hookah bar in the Mumbai Fort area, tobacco products were mixed with nicotine and consumed in a different way. After receiving information from a special source, the police raided the place. In this case, 13 people were detained along with Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui. They were medical tested. They were later released after being interrogated. According to the police, although this is a bailable offence, the police have issued a notice and let Faruqui go. The police are investigating the incident further.
It is worth noting that Munwar Faruqui won the 17th season of the reality show Bigg boss. Earlier, Bigg boss OTT winner Elvish yadav was also accused of getting poisoned with snake venom. While he was arrested in the case, he is now on bail. Before this, he was in jail for 1 month in 2021 for insulting a Hindu deity.
