Modi gave big gifts to farmers during his visit to Banaras

Banarasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited his parliamentary constituency Banarasi for the first time after taking oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. Modi went to Banarasi and gave a big gift to the farmers there. Modi has given the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Nidhi Scheme to the farmers.

Modi has transferred more than 20 thousand crore rupees to the accounts of about 9.60 crore farmers of the country under the 17th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Nidhi Scheme. In addition, Modi expressed his gratitude to the voters of Varanasi parliamentary constituency for winning by voting in large numbers.

In addition to this, Modi has also distributed agriculture sakhi certificates to more than 30,000 beneficiary farmers. Modi said that while this agriculture sakhi scheme was initially started in 12 states, this scheme will be implemented in all the states in the coming days.

It is worth noting that the Modi government launched the PM Kisan Nidhi scheme on February 24, 2019 to provide financial incentives to farmers. So far money has been sent to the farmer’s account in 16 installments. In 2023-24 there are more than 30 lakh beneficiaries of PM Kisan Nidhi Scheme in Odisha.
