Bhubaneswar: All schools in the state will be closed from April 25. Such a step has been taken in view of the growing drought in the state. The state government has announced summer vacation in schools from April 25 to class 12. At this time, the school children will be given lunch and rice. A letter has been sent to all the District Magistrates on behalf of PM Poshan State Nodal Officer Raghuram R Iyer.
On the other hand, in view of the possible summer heat and the information of the weather department, the school is open for three days from 6.30 am to 10.30 am from April 22nd to 24th. The school was closed from 18th to 20th for summer. However, according to the academic calendar, the school will be on holiday from May 6. But the state government has announced a holiday for all the schools in the state from April 25 due to the hot summer.
From 25th to 4th May means 9 days food will be given to the child. For a total of 12 days of leave, parents will be distributed rice along with the cost of mid-day meal. Food costs will go directly to the children’s or parent’s bank account. The work has been ordered to be completed within 15 days.
