Bhubaneswar: Asmita Khelo India Women’s Weightlifting Championship has been organized in Himachal Pradesh. Odisha has won 9 medals including 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in the zone national ranking tournament. Meena Santa, an emerging weightlifter from Odisha, is considered the best weightlifter in the youth category. Meena has brought glory to Odisha by winning the gold medal in the 55 kg category. Meena also expressed her satisfaction with her performance. He is training at Odisha Tenwick Weightlifting High Performance Center.
