HASARANGA PULLED OUT OF THE TEST RETIREMENT DECISION

Colombo: The 26-year-old Sri Lankan player Wanindu Hasaranga shocked everyone by suddenly announcing his retirement from Test cricket on August 15 last year. After 7 months he changed his mind. He informed the board about his decision to retire. Now he has been included in the Sri Lankan team for the Test series against Bangladesh. He took the test in 2020. So far he has played only 4 Tests and scored 196 runs. However, Hasaranga has played 54 one-day matches and 65 T20 matches.

2 Test matches will be played between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He took this decision to focus more on limited overs games. He did not explain why he changed it suddenly. Everyone will be watching Hasaranga’s performance in this test series.
