VLADIMIR PUTIN BECAME THE PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA FOR THE FIFTH TIME IN A ROW

Moscow: Vladimir Putin has become the president of Russia for the fifth time in a row. He got 87.8% votes in the presidential election. He will be the president of the country for the fifth consecutive time and will rule for the next 6 years.

Vladimir Putin has been in power for 24 years. Once again, he has won the election by a huge margin. The war with Ukraine, despite opposition protests, has had no effect on Putin’s victory. Putin has been elected president with the highest number of votes in the history of Russia.

Putin gave a victory speech to the countrymen at the headquarters in Moscow while he was going to be the president of the country for the fifth time. He said, ‘The only source of power of the country is the people of Russia. Every citizen’s vote is valuable when it comes to shaping the future of the country.

Competing against Putin, the second-placed candidate of the Communist Party, Nikolai Khartinov, came in second with 4.7 percent of the vote. Other contenders Vladislav Davankov of the New People’s Party got 3.6 percent and Leonid Slutsky of the Liberal Democrats got 2.5 percent.

71-year-old Putin will remain president until 2030 with this victory. In the country’s 200-year history, he will stay in power for the longest time and break Joseph Stalin’s record.
