CENTRAL AGENCIES IN ACTION MODE EARLY MORNING, ED AND CBI RAIDS AT 3 LOCATIONS

New Delhi: Central agencies in action mode ahead of Lok Sabha elections. While the controversy over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is still not over, the central agency today raided the residences of the opposition party leaders and their family members. On the other hand, the ED reached the house of Aam Aadmi Party’s Matiala MLA Gulab Singh Yadav and BRS leader Kavitha’s relatives early in the morning, while the CBI reached the house of former Tunmul Congress MP Mahua Maitra.

According to information, ED raided K. Kavita’s relative’s house in Hyderabad today. The raid is said to have been carried out in the case of liquor corruption in Delhi. The ED team also raided Kavita’s brother-in-law’s house. Actually, K. Kavita’s remand is ending today.

On the other hand, the CBI raided many places including the residence of former TMC MP Mahua Maitra early this morning. On March 21, the CBI filed a case against former TMC MP Mahua Maitra in the case of asking questions about money. CBI has raided his house two days after the case was filed.

Meanwhile, after arresting Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party coordinator Arvind Kejriwal, ED has initiated action against another party leader. Early this morning, ED raided the house of MLA Gulab Singh. MLA Gulab Singh from Matiala assembly constituency is in charge of party’s Gujarat unit. It is not yet clear why this hike is being done.
