BCCI HAS STARTED THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR THE POST OF COACH

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has started the application process for the new coach post. Rahul Dravid is now the coach of the Indian senior men’s team. His tenure will end in June. After the T20 World Cup to be held in America and West Indies, the Indian team will get a new coach. BCCI has also issued a notification regarding this. The application can be made till May 27 at 6 pm. Some rules have been laid down for this. Applicants for head coach must have played at least 20 Tests or 50 one-day matches. Must be below 60 years of age and have BCCI Level 3 or equivalent certification.

Similarly, a full member must be the head coach of a Test playing country for 2 years. Apart from this, for 3 years, the associate member or head coach of the IPL team or its equivalent should have held responsibility in the international league. The tenure of the new coach will be from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2027. During this period, Team India will play 5 ICC trophies.
