Puri: Arrow explosion incident in Puri Narendra Pushkarini. Puri police has arrested 4 arrow traders. The 4 arrested accused are Prashant Kumar Naik of Brahkundi village under Charichak police station, Tuku Ranjan Swain, Jagannath Rout and Budhia Bhoi of Orpata village. Puri police have seized 46 kg of potassium nitrate, 8 kg of gun powder, 85 hand grenades and a large amount of arrows from them. The accused has been arrested and taken to court.
According to the information, the accident happened during the pressure game of Mahaprabhu at the Narendra Pushkarini in Puri on May 29. According to the tradition, Narendra Pushkarini had boiled the ore near Pustarana. However, when the arrows were fired, a pile of arrows caught fire and they exploded and this accident happened. Many people were injured in the incident. They were admitted in various hospitals in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar in critical condition. Now slowly the death toll is increasing. The death toll has increased to 13. On the other hand, yesterday, three people recovered and returned from the hospital. Including these 3 people, 9 people have recovered and returned home. However, 17 people are still undergoing treatment in different hospitals of the state.
