New Delhi: After Jio, Airtel is going to increase the price of its mobile recharge plan from July 3. Bharti Airtel has informed that a 10 to 21 percent increase in its mobile rates has been announced. The increased mobile tariff will be effective from July 3. This will affect the rates of both postpaid and prepaid mobile phones and the plans will become more expensive.
The most important thing is that customers running 5G SIM and mobile have to recharge for at least 2 GB or more data per day. Otherwise they cannot use unlimited data. However, in order to provide good network and service, the company informed that an average income of 300 rupees per customer is necessary. This increase is very low, less than 70 cents per day, the company said.
As per the new revised tariff, Airtel’s 28-day validity Rs.179 cheapest plan will now be Rs.99. Similarly, the Rs 455 plan with 84 days validity will be Rs 509. The prepaid plan with 365 days validity, which was priced at Rs 1799, will be increased to Rs 1999.
It is worth noting that after the formation of the third term of the Modi government, the prices have been increasing steadily. Jio has increased its recharge rates yesterday.
