Report Frontline

Cuttack: After 5 long years, the international cricket match has returned to the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Which is good news for the sports lovers of Odisha. This is clear in the domestic cricket series schedule against Bangladesh, New Zealand and England released by BCCI on Thursday. Since the match against the West Indies on 22 December 2019, no more international matches have been held here. Team India has a better record in the bar. India played 10 matches here and won 8 of them. In 2025, India and England will play a 3-match one-day series. One match of this series will be held at Barabati. This match will be played on February 9.

The domestic season will start from September 19. Against Bangladesh, India will first play a 2-match Test and then 3 T20 matches. Three Test matches will be played against New Zealand from October 16. After that, India will travel to Australia to play a five-match Test series. India will play a home series against England on January 2025.
