Bhubaneswar: Madhya Pradesh’s Mahabal tiger has crossed three state borders and reached the Similipal tiger sanctuary. The camera of the forest department captured the picture of the tiger. However, NTCA (National Tiger Conservation Authority) informed that the tiger came from Madhya Pradesh. It is estimated that the Mahabal has crossed more than a thousand kilometers.

The Mahabal of Madhya Pradesh crossed the Chhattisgarh forest on foot from the national park. From here, the Jharkhand Palamao Tiger Reserve entered. Chief Conservator of Forests PCCF (Wildlife) Sushant Nand Xray informed about the arrival of Similipal. Mahabal also shared his X-ray photo of the tiger. According to Sushant Nand, the tiger’s age will be 4 years. The tiger is believed to be living in the Sanjay-Dubari Park.

Captured photos from the camera traps were sent to the National Whale Conservation Authority’s whale cell. After checking the markings on the tiger’s body, it was found that it is a tiger from Madhya Pradesh. The cell explained about that. On the other hand, Shusant Nand said, the scene of the tiger killing and eating a tiger has been captured. That means tigers are willing to stay in this Similipal sanctuary. If so then there is no objection. If the willing tiger wants to go back, he can go. It is a rare event to come to Odisha from Madhya Pradesh after walking such a long distance. Earlier, a tiger from Madhya Pradesh’s Kanha sanctuary reached the border of Andhra Pradesh
