Block Level Children’s Festival, Suravi and Millets Competition organized

Dunguripali: Dunguripali Block Level Children’s Festival Suravi and Millets Competition has been held in Dunguripali Higher Primary School campus. Block Education Officer Ganesh Kishan inaugurated the program with Dunguripali Block Development Officer Rohit Bhoi as the chief guest and said that Suravi is a perfect platform to develop innate creativity. Dr. Radhakant Gadtia, Asst. Disttict Education Officer of Subarnapur District, joined as the Chief speaker and discussed the role of suravi in the overall development of children in the current situation. Rampur Tehsildar Purusottam Mirdha joined as the guest of honor and discussed the Millet mission and said that food and development are complementary to each other. CRCC Dilip Padhan and teacher Sudhira Gartia managed the stage while Education Officer Batakrishna Padhi announced the program to the group.

More than 500 students from primary and upper primary schools of the block participated in the program. Competitions were held among the students in Millet Quiz, Essay, Speech, Music, Cultural Program, Drawing, Arts and Crafts, Logic, Creative Writing, Odia Calligraphy and Signature ect. Program ware Coordination.

Subarnapur Zilla Parishad, Chairperson Supara Thela attended the graduation ceremony as the chief guest and said that Suravi’s role in boosting the self-confidence of the students was commendable and awarded the prize. Agriculture Officer Govinda Chandra Tripathi joined as the keynote speaker and discussed the role of students and parents in Millet Mission.Dunguripali Panchayat Samiti, Vice- President Makardhwaj Sahu, Dunguripali Sarpanch Chittaranjan Mishra, eminent social worker and president of Koshal Journalists Federation Bipra Charan Sahu praised the creativity of the students as guests of honor.

Certificates and trophies were awarded to students who won first, second and third positions in each competition. At the end, Akhil Pradhan, Asst. Block Education Officer, gave vote of thanks. In this Suravi Programme the discipline, beautiful decorations and selfie points were educationally interesting and engaging for all.
