Dunguripali (RF Bureau): Suburbanpur district level annual sports competition 2023 has been held at Adibasi Panchayat High School Sahala, Dunguripali. Subarnapur Zilla Parisad Chairperson Supara Thela joined the inauguration ceremony under the chairmanship of district education officer Dr. Radhakant Gadtia as the chief guest and discussed the need for participation of girls in sports competitions. Dunguripali Block Education Officer Ganesh Kishan joined as the main speaker and said that special attention of parents and teachers is needed in the development of sports. Manjushree Majhi, member of Zilla Parisad, Makardwaj Sahu, Vice- Chairman Dunguripali Block Samiti, Subodh Narayan Sa, the Headmaster of the Sahala Adibasi Panchayat High School joined as the guest of honor and discussed the need of the students to be interested in sports.
Physical Education Teacher Sanjeev Sahu and Teacher Padmini Sahu coordinated the program while District Physical Education Officer Satyanarayan Tripathi introduced the guest. Science teacher Panchanan Barik gave vote of thanks. Senior Sports Coach Nirupama Tandi, Sandhyarani Kheti, Manju Mishra, Salma Bano, Dunguripali Block Sports Secretary Jitendra Budek, Manoj Patra, Rohit Patel, Balaji Vishwanath, Sanjay Sahu, Gangadhar Patel, Devaraj Sethi, Mohammed Kalim, Bipracharan Pera, Narsingh Sethi, Sanjay Fatesingh, Jai Narayan Mishra, Parameswar Panda, Anantaram Mendali, Pramod Putel, Jagbandhu Padhan, Harishchandra Majhi, Prahlad Naik, Ranjit Padhan, Yashwant Patel, Sridhar Patel, Manabhanjan Panda, Ananta Narayan Banchor, Tekachand Sahu, Srimanta Padhan, Ashok Budha, Shrimad Das, Mahesh Bhoi, Sunil Padhan, Guninidhi Sahu, Daulat Sa, Hemsagar Gadtia, Shashibhushan Sandha, Sananda Barik, Chaitanya Barik, Tahasil Padhan, Sampad Khamari, Deva Padhan, Kshirod Bhoi, Suresh Bishi, Narendra Padhan, Biswajit Sa, Mahesh Bhoi , Brusabha Sahu, Dillip Bhue, and physical teachers from different blocks of the district contributed.
Students from different high schools and higher primary schools of 6 blocks participated in running, high Jump, long jump, shot put, discus throw competitions in two categories of girls and boys under 14 years and under 17 years. President of Sahala High School Management Committee Haribandhu Padhan, first Secretary of the school Yadav Chandra Singh Bariha, block education officer Ganesh Kishan attended the graduation ceremony under the chairmanship of District Education Officer Laxman Bhoi as guests of honor and presented trophies and certificates to the first, second, third and champion students. Awarded Dunguripali block in under 14 years girls category, Sonepur block in under 17 years boys category, Birmaharajpur block in girls category were champions. Finally Math teacher Ashwini Das gave vote of thanks. Asst. Block Education Officer Ganjalu Mirdha, Batakrishna Padhi, Jagat Mallik, sports workers of different blocks, all CRCCs, head teachers, students supervised the program. Students who secure the first position are considered eligible for the state level competition.
