Bhubaneswar: Rain continues in the state. According to the regional weather center, yellow warning has been issued for three districts of Odisha on Monday due to heavy to very heavy rain. An alert has been issued for the next three hours. Moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur in some areas of Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak districts in the next 3 hours.
Due to heavy rains, the water level will rise in the floodplains and the traffic will be disrupted in the urban areas. People are advised to monitor the weather and act accordingly.
The IMD has predicted that another cyclone is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal by July 31. Heavy rain is likely to occur in northern and interior areas of Odisha till August 3.
