Why did the Supreme Court call the coaching center a ‘death chamber’?

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Center and the Delhi government regarding the death of 3 civil service aspirants.

During the related hearing, the court failed to control the coaching centers and termed them as ‘death chambers’. In addition to this, it is time to play with children’s lives.

The safety of students should be given priority. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Central Government and the Chief Secretary of Delhi whether the security rules have been implemented in the coaching center. Also, the Supreme Court said that if the coaching centers are not able to fulfill the security rules, they should be conducted in online mode.

Notably, two students and one student died when water entered the library in the basement of Rouse Coaching Center in Old Rajendra, Delhi, less than a week ago. These 3 people drowned due to sudden water entering the library. By the time the rescue team reached the spot and rescued them, they were dead.

After this incident, all the coaching centers in the city were raided. The municipal corporation raided and sealed the basements of Vajiram, Ravi and Sriram coaching centers including IAS coaching centers.
