UNBEARABLE DROUGHT FOR ANOTHER 5 DAYS: RED ALERT ISSUED IN 13 DISTRICTS TODAY FOR SEVERE SUMMER FLOODS.

Bhubaneswar: The entire state is in a frenzy. Life has been disrupted for summer. The Regional Meteorological Department has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms for another 5 days. Red alert has been issued to 13 districts and orange warning has been issued to 15 districts and yellow warning has been issued to 2 districts. The temperature in some cities including Bhubaneswar may touch 46 degrees on Sunday.

The rain of fire has been increasing continuously for the past few days. This type of heavy rain will continue till the second week of next May. The temperature will be high in the northern interior and western Odisha districts. Peak hours for severe heat waves have been announced from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. At this time, the weather center has advised not to leave the house. Similarly, yesterday, Angul became the hottest city in the state with 44.7 degrees. Bhubaneswar recorded a temperature of 44.6 degrees and Baripada 44.2 degrees.
