Bhubaneswar: 2 community resource persons (CRP) have been removed from the post by the district administration on charges of violation of code of conduct in Kendrapara.
CRP Puspanjali Mohanty and Narmada Basantia of Talasanga and Marshaghai blocks have been suspended on the charges of inciting them to participate in political gatherings and blow conch shells.
After the BJP complained about this, the Kendrapara Additional Upazila conducted an investigation on April 29 and submitted a report on April 30. The letter of the District Collector said that after reviewing the report, both of them will be suspended from their jobs.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) filed a complaint against Pushpanjali Mohanty to the Chief Electoral Officer of Odisha. which may exploit his official role for political gain in violation of Article 129 of the Representation of the People Act.
