TRUCK HITS PILGRIM MINIBUS: 7 DEAD, MORE THAN 20 INJURED IN FATAL ACCIDENT

Ambala: Mother Vaishnodevi’s vision is half gone. The truck hit the pilgrim minibus. The fatal accident took 7 lives. More than 20 were injured. The accident took place in Ambala, Haryana this morning. Ambala police are investigating the accident. A total of 26 people were traveling in this vehicle.

According to information, devotees from Uttar Pradesh came out in mini buses for the darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi. Meanwhile, the pilgrim collided with the mini bus truck. The incident took place on GT Road near NDA Plaza Mohra in Ambala. It is said that 7 people have died in this accident. A child is also involved. More than 20 passengers are said to have been injured. The injured passengers were admitted to the nearby Command Hospital and others to the Civil Hospital of Ambala Cantonment. Ambala police are investigating the incident.

The accident happened at around 3 am. It is said that the family went out for darshan of Vaishno Devi on the evening of May 23. All the passengers are said to be family members. Among the dead is a girl. Vinod (52), a resident of Jakholi, Sonipat, Haryana, died in this accident. Apart from this, Manoj (42) of Kakkaur, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh and Meher Chand (46), a resident of Guddi, Hasanpur, a 6-month-old daughter, Prithiya, lost their lives. Some of the injured are in critical condition.
