Koraput: Tribal leader Nachika Linga acquitted. He was acquitted in all 50 cases. In 2009, he went to jail in Narayanpatna police station attack case. Nachika Linga, president of Koraput District Farmers’ Mulia Tribal Association, was proved innocent on Wednesday.

There were a total of 50 cases in his name. Earlier he was acquitted in 49 cases one by one. In the 50th case, Koraput assistant Dauraj has proved his innocence based on the testimony of 39 witnesses, said his lawyer Gupteswar Manigarahi.

“Truth and justice won,” Nachika said in her response. He was arrested in 2014 and was in Koraput jail. He was released from jail after getting bail from the Supreme Court in November 2020. Now he is living in village Valyaput under his Narayanapatna police station.
