New Delhi: Voting for by-elections was held in 13 assembly seats in 7 states of the country today. In this by-election held for the first time after the Lok Sabha elections, the fate of many big-time leaders from Bihar to Himachal is being tested. This polling process will start from 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. The result will be announced on July 13th.
Due to the death of some members and the resignation of some members, this referendum has been held. West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh are among the seven states that are going to by-elections. Similarly, the referendum is going on in Raiganj, Bagda, Manikatla and Ranagat in West Bengal. Polling is ongoing in Uttarakhand’s Badrinath and Mangalore, Punjab’s Jalandhar West seats, Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur, Nalagarh and Dehra.
Rupali in Bihar, Vikrabandi in Tamil Nadu, Amarbada in Madhya Pradesh are holding referendums. Out of the 13 seats for which the polls were held, BJP won 3, Congress 2 and other parties won 8. Keeping this election in mind, BJP is trying to win more seats by strengthening the morale of its workers, while other parties are also trying to succeed in this election.
