THE NOTIFICATION FOR THE SECOND PHASE OF VOTING IN ODISHA HAS BEEN RELEASED

Bhubaneswar: The second phase of voting will be held in Odisha on May 20. A notification has been issued for this purpose. Notification has been issued for Sundargarh, Balangir, Asika, Kandhamal, Bargarh.

According to information, in the second phase in Odisha, elections will be held in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Balangir, Kandhamal, Asika Lok Sabha seats and 35 assembly seats under it. For this, it has been announced in this notification that the process of submission of nomination paper will be started from today. Prospective candidates can submit nomination papers between today and May 3. The nomination paper will be verified on May 4. It has been revealed in this notification that the nomination will be withdrawn on May 6 and the polling will be held on May 20.

It is worth noting that the 2024 general elections will be held in seven phases in the country. Polling in Odisha will be held in 4 phases on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1 respectively. In the first phase in Odisha, votes will be taken for 4 Lok Sabha seats and 28 assembly seats. 483 candidates have filled their names for the first phase of the election. It seems that maximum 30 people have filed their candidature in Brahampur.
