Keonjhar: The lives of 3 children of Anganwadi center drowned in water. It has been reported that such a rare incident happened when he went to study at Atrukana Anganwadi center in Hatadihi block of Keonjhar district. However, 3 children drowned in the pond near Anganwadi Center due to rain.
However, according to the local people, due to heavy rains, water filled the ditch. When the children were playing there, his leg slipped and he drowned. Later he was taken to Agarpada Medical Center but the doctor there declared him dead. However, it is not clear whether the children were returning from Anganwadi or went there to play and this incident happened.
However, according to the information received, the dead children are Lipsa Patra (3 years), Payal Patra (3 years) and Bharti Patra (4 years) from Atrukana village in Keonjhar district.
