Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed his deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the train accident near Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. Posting on social media ‘X’, the Chief Minister expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased and said that this incident is very sad.Chief Minister Shri Majhi has wished the injured people a speedy recovery.
It is worth noting that Kanchenjunga Express met with an accident in Siliguri district of West Bengal today. Train T came from Agartala and hit the Kanchenjunga Express standing on the track. As a result, more than 3 coaches of the train were damaged. In addition to this, 8 people have died so far. It is said that 30 people were injured. The rescue team has reached the spot and is continuing the rescue work.
