Team India has left Barbados and will arrive soon

New Delhi: The victorious India team is returning home from Barbados airport in a special chartered flight of Air India.

They were advised to stay in a hotel because of the storm Beryl. In view of the weather, the plane could not fly. Because of which the player’s return to the country was delayed. On June 29, the T-20 World Cup final match ended in Barbados. The Indian team has been staying there since the victory. Then when the weather cleared, the BCCI arranged for a special chartered flight to bring the Indian team back home.

He will arrive at New Delhi airport on Thursday, July 4. where they are scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, Prime Minister Modi also congratulated the team for the historic victory through a phone call.

According to reports, Team India may reach Delhi at 6 am tomorrow. In this T-20 World Cup, Team India has become the champion after defeating South Africa. After 17 years, the Indian team has become the T-20 World Cup champion again.
