Srikrishna Birthplace Dispute: High Court Dismisses Muslim Petition

Mathura: The Allahabad High Court dismissed the appeal filed by the Shahi Idgah Masjid Trust in the case of Srikrishna birthplace in Uttar Pradesh.

Today, a single bench of Justice Mayan Kumar Jain delivered its verdict on the case. The court said that the hearing will continue on the application of the Hindu side. The High Court has given an interim verdict in 15 cases filed by Hindus.

However, after the decision of the court, Hindu lawyer Bishnu Shankar Jain said, “If the Muslim party goes to the Supreme Court, we are also ready.” He also said, “Today, the Allahabad High Court dismissed the Order 7 Rule 11 petition filed by Shahi Idgah Masjid.” The next hearing will be on August 12. Notably, there is a dispute over 13.37 acres of land in Sri Krishna’s birth place in Mathura.
