Bhubaneswar: New list of ration card beneficiaries soon. New beneficiaries will get ration card within months. Food Supply Camp Welfare Minister Krishnachandra Patra informed this. About 8 lakh new beneficiaries can get new ration cards, said the minister.
The minister also said that a total of 6 lakh 19 thousand 836 family have applied. The process of obtaining new beneficiary card and exclusion of ineligible beneficiaries has also started. Now the process of updating KYC is going on. Out of which 12 have automatic inclusion criteria and 10 exclusion criteria. Aadhaar based e-KWIS verification has been started to clear the data. The departmental officers have been directed to cut off the ineligible beneficiaries. Similarly, house to house survey is going on, the new list will be finalized in a month, said Food Supply Camp Welfare Minister Krishnachandra Patra.
