Mumbai: South Indian films are now popular in Hindi speaking regions. Keeping the audience’s demand in front of their eyes, AA Films and Pan Marudhar have bought Pushpa 2 and Kalki 2898 AD at a record price in the Hindi belt. Pushpa 2 has been bought for Rs 200 crore and Prabhas’ sci-fi thriller Rs 100 crore. No South Indian film has ever been bought for so much money in North India. Ram Charan and Shankar’s Game Changer film is on the third place in this list.It was bought by Anil Thadani for 75 crores and Junior NTR’s son-in-law for 45 crores. Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 has been bought by Pan Marudhar for only 20 crores. Critics have expressed hope that it could be a jackpot for him.
