New Delhi: Rishabh Pant will captain Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024 edition. On Tuesday, the franchise has formally announced this. After 14 months away from cricket, Pant is fit and back on the field. He is currently practicing with his teammates at the team camp in Vizag. Delhi Capitals chairman and franchisee Parth Jindal said, “We welcome Rishabh Pant.” He is the captain of our team. He said that his presence will surely benefit the team. In December last year, Pant was returning home by car when it crashed.

He was hospitalized in critical condition. After being declared risk-free by doctors, he made himself fit for the NCA. He also worked hard with the physio. Delhi will start their campaign against Punjab Kings on March 23.
