Angul: During the next 48 hours, the day temperature will rise in some parts of the state. There is a possibility of increasing up to 2 degrees. As a result, there is a possibility that heavy rains will continue in some districts of the state for the next 4 to 5 days and there will be unbearable rain.
Today, 12 cities have crossed 43 degrees and Angul has become the hottest city in the state with 44.6 degrees. Similarly, 44.5 degrees was recorded in Taparku Boudh district, while 44 degrees was recorded in Nuapada and Balangir. The temperature is 43.8 degrees in Baripada, 43.6 degrees in Titilagarh, 43 degrees in Jajpur. 6 degrees, 43 in Sambalpur. 6 degrees, 43.6 degrees in Hirakud 43.65 degrees in Jharsuguda and 40 degrees in Bhubaneswar. 5 degrees have been recorded.
Similarly, 32 cities have recorded temperatures of 40 degrees or more.
The hot summer continues throughout the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a red warning for severe summer heat in various districts of the state till the 30th.
