Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s major cultural institution Odisha Dance Academy’s 37th annual dance festival ‘Nrityambada’ has been organized at the local Rabindra Mandap. On this occasion Guru Vijaya Kumar Dash was awarded ODA Excellence Award 2024, Aradhana Padhi Memorial Award 2024 to Madhusmita Naik and ODA Navarang Award 2024 to Chinmay Behera.
In the opening evening, eminent Mardal dancer Guru Dhaneshwar Swain, eminent Odissi dancer Phamagi Kara, member of Odisha Dance Academy Dr. Siddharth Mohanty, Secretary of Odisha Dance Academy Guru Aruna Mohanty and Joint Secretary of Odisha Dance Academy Madhusmita Mohanty were present as guests.
The said program was successfully conducted by the senior teachers, dancers and staff of the institute under the direct supervision of Odisha Dance Academy editor and eminent dance guru Aruna Mohanty. The students of the institute also performed Odisha, Sambalwari and Odisha dance dramas in the graduation ceremony.
The program was conducted by Pramod Kumar Rout and Mr. Srinivas conducted the event.
