Nita Ambani elected as member of IOC

Paris: The International Olympic Committee has once again expressed confidence in Nita Ambani. She has been unanimously elected as a member of the IOC. A total of 93 voter have cast their votes and all 93 votes are in favor of Nita Ambani, which means 100 percent support. Nita Ambani was elected as a member of the IOC for the first time at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016. He is the founder and chairman of Reliance Foundation.

Nita Ambani said about being re-elected, I feel very honored to be re-elected as a member of IOC. I would like to thank President Bak and all my colleagues at the IOC for placing their trust and confidence in me. This re-election is not only a personal milestone for me, but also shows India’s growing influence in world sports. I am eager to share this moment of joy and pride with every Indian and to further strengthen the Olympic movement in India and around the world.

It is worth noting that under the leadership of Nita Ambani, India organized the annual meeting of IOC after waiting for 40 years. It was successfully organized in 2023 at Geo World Center in Mumbai. For the first time, under the leadership of Nita Ambani, India House has been built at the Olympics. It has become like a home away from India for Indian athletes, supporters and spectators at the Paris Olympics.
