New Delhi: NIA is in full action mode to suppress the Khalistani organization and the terrorists associated with them. Research organizations are constantly raiding the country and abroad. This campaign is going on in about 50 places in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi. The NIA has concrete evidence of cross-border terrorism. In such a situation, the NIA has launched a crackdown on Khalistani supporters and gangsters operating from foreign soil.
The issue of Khalistan has intensified recently after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of killing Khalistan Tiger Force chief Hardik Singh Nizar. Agencies are busy investigating their networks, as well as exposing Khalistan supporters active in Canada. Apart from this, preparations are also underway to block their source of funds. For this, many agencies including Financial Intelligence Unit, IB have become active. It is feared that the Khalistan gangster nexus has become a threat to India. Money from crimes such as drugs and arms smuggling, theft, murder etc. is being used for anti-India activities. Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is considered to be the biggest player in financing the Khalistani.
