New Delhi: NEET-UG 2024 counseling will start from August 14th. This information is given in the MCC notification. According to the notification issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the registration for the counseling will start from the first week of August. The details of the counseling have been released on the website mcc.nic.in.
National Medical Commission Secretary Dr. B. Srinivas said that the registration for the counseling process will start from the first week of August. Counseling will be done for about 1.10 lakh MBBS seats in about 710 medical colleges of the country. Then enrollment will be done on All India Quota basis. Counseling will be done on 15 percent seats on the basis of All India Quota. The remaining 85 percent seats will be counseled in the state quota.
MCC will conduct NEET UG counseling in 3 main rounds. Candidates are advised to visit the MCC website to know about the notification. Counseling will be done for 21,000 BDS seats apart from Ayush and Nursing seats, Srinivas said.
