Navodaya Alumni Meet 2024 Held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – The vibrant spirit of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) alumni was on full display as more than 40 Navodayans, along with their families, gathered in Riyadh for a memorable evening of camaraderie and connection. This event marked a significant milestone for the Navodaya Alumni community in Saudi Arabia, bringing together members from diverse backgrounds and celebrating the shared legacy of Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Despite geographical constraints that prevented some from attending in person, the Navodaya spirit resonated across Saudi Arabia, with over 100 Navodayans being part of the larger community in the region. Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Chandan Mishra (JNV Gonda-UP), the event was meticulously planned and executed with unwavering support from Mr. Venkata Subbaish (JNV Kadapa-AP), Mr. Nirmal Singh (JNV Gonda-UP), Mr. Siddarth Shukla (JNV Gonda-UP), Mr. Asutosh Pandey (JNV Gonda-UP), and Mr. Sekh Ali (JNV Kendrapara- Odisha), alongside a team of dedicated Navodayan volunteers in KSA.

Adding to the evening’s significance, a special message of encouragement and best wishes was received from Shri T. Gopalakrishna, Deputy Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (Hyderabad Region). The event also featured heartfelt messages from alumni across the globe, including Mr. Ciju Kurian from the UAE, Mr. Ayyapan from Qatar, Mr. Vipin from Qatar, Mr. Harish Thanki from USA and Mr. Anurag Mishra from Germany, underscoring the global reach and unity of the Navodaya community.

The meet was filled with nostalgia, joy, and a sense of belonging, as attendees reminisced about their cherished Navodaya days and strengthened bonds that transcend borders. The event concluded with a unanimous commitment to further strengthen the Navodayan network in Saudi Arabia and contribute collectively to the larger Navodaya family worldwide.
