Bhubaneswar: National swimming competition will be held in Odisha for the third time
The 40th sub-junior and 50th junior swimming competition is going to be organized at the Indoor Aquatics Center at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from today till the 11th. More than 1,000 competitors will participate in this event, which will be held jointly by the Indian Swimming Federation, Odisha State Swimming Organization and Odisha State Sports and Youth Services Department. From Odisha, 21 people in boys category and 18 people in girls category, total 39 people are going to participate in the competition.

However, the national swimming competition is going to be organized in Odisha for the third time. This time, the swimming competition will be held in 7 categories, starting from freestyle to butterfly stroke. Athletes Mannath Mishra, Anshika Sahu, Dhanvi Bhaumik in the girls’ category and Aritra Mallik and Jagjeet Pradhan in the boys category are expected to win medals.
