Bhubaneswar: Southwest Monsoon has touched Odisha, but there is no relief from it yet. In the state, the unbearable heat of summer is still going on. However, the weather center director Manorama Mohanty gave more information about this today. He said, even if Monsoon air has touched Odisha, there is no favorable situation to move forward. He also said that the monsoon may not continue for the next 3 to 4 days.
However, now the wind is blowing from the north-west direction, due to which the summer heat is experiencing unbearable heat. The weather department has estimated that summer will continue in North Odisha and coastal Odisha for the next 5 days. The meteorological department has warned that the day temperature may increase by 2 to 3 degrees due to this effect.
It is worth noting that, this time, Odisha was hit by southwest monsoon 4 days before the expected time. Monsoon weather touched Odisha on last 8th. As a result of this, it has rained in some areas of Malkangari, and the summer heat has returned to the state.
