Bhubaneswar: Cyclone will form in North Bay of Bengal on 27th. Due to this, heavy rains may occur in the state. Monsoon is likely to touch some districts of the state by June 23. Similarly, by June 30, there will be monsoonal rains in all parts of the state.Southwest Monsoon is slowly becoming active in Odisha. As a result, it is seen raining in different parts of the state. Yellow warning has been issued in 15 districts of the state for heavy rain in the next 24 hours. This has been informed by the regional weather center in Bhubaneswar.
Monsoon has now touched almost all the districts of south and coastal Odisha. Heavy rain is likely to occur in all these districts on Thursday. On the other hand, due to the arrival of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, it is estimated that the amount of monsoon rains will increase in Odisha by June 24.
Monsoon air reached Malkangiri on June 8. As a result, it rained in South Odisha. Meanwhile, the summer wave continued in western and coastal Odisha. Monsoon is currently active in Malkangari and heavy rains have fallen in the last 24 hours with 29.4 mm of rain. Apart from this, rain has also occurred in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Kendrapara.
