New Delhi: Manish Sisodia is shocked again. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has today extended the judicial custody of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia till May 31 in the money laundering case related to the liquor scam in Delhi.

Manish Sisodia appeared in the court through video conferencing. The next hearing of the case will be held on May 31 at Rouse Avenue Court. The court asked the accused to inform in writing how much time it would take to examine the unnecessary documents.

However, Manish Sisodia asked for bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. Votes will be accepted in all 7 seats of Delhi on 25th. In such a situation, Sisodia has appealed to the court regarding the election campaign.

It is worth noting that Sisodia, who was arrested in the case of money laundering related to liquor corruption in Delhi, is currently serving time in Tihar Jail. Manish Sisodia was arrested last year on 26th February 2023 and since then there has been no relief from his bail. Rouse Avenue Court has already extended Manish’s judicial custody several times.
