Hyderabad: Ramoji Rao, the founder of Ramoji Group and the world’s largest film city ‘Ramoji Filmcity’, is no more. He was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad after developing health problems on Friday. He breathed his last today at 4:50 am. He was 87 years old at the time of his death.
He was honored with ‘Padma Vibhushan’ in 2016 for his outstanding contribution to media, cinema and literature. Senior BJP leader G Kishan Reddy has expressed grief over his demise. I am very saddened by the death of Ramoji Rao. He has a significant influence in the world of Telugu media, cinema and literature. God bless the bereaved family.
Apart from this, many people have mourned the death of Special Rao. He will be cremated with full national honors at the Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills this afternoon.
